On our Branding work, I have seen many agencies attempt to brand over the years and fail, Azzurro really understood the brief and captured the essence of what we are. Excellent! We are delighted with this work.

I am pleased to say that we have used Azzurro to provide consultative support for marketing and commercial projects, and for general Agency support from time to time. Their consultative inputs have provided significant added value to our efforts, and the general Agency support exceeds our expectations. We are very pleased with the support we receive.

Azzurro has been managing our Google Adwords/PPC account for six months and the metrics around our various campaigns have been brilliant. The Click-Through-Rate on our adverts have improved each month and is now more than double the industry average. Outsourcing the Google Adwords/PPC project management allows our team to focus on other key deliverables while benefiting from a significant increase in website enquiries.
Andrew Lamb – Sales Manager, HRH Geology
Social media presence is an important tool for business so that’s where the main help’s been for the company as far as I am concerned. Just getting our name out there and marketing our company to tell people who we are and what we can do. A great bunch of people, with an insightful view into the importance of Web Design and Social media. Well worth a call.

FAQs
What are the different types of Google Ads?
There are five types of Google advertisements. They are:
- Ads that use text and appear on search engine results pages.
- Ads that use images and appear on websites.
- Ads that use product listings and appear in search results and on websites.
- Ads that use video and appear in YouTube videos.
- Ads that encourage people to install your app and appear in search results, on websites, and in YouTube videos.
How do you purchase a Google PPC advertisement?
Google Ads works using an auction-style system. You set your bid price, which is how much you are willing to pay per click, and your budget which is how much you are willing to spend in total on the whole campaign. This ensures you never pay more than you can afford, and you can make changes to both your bid price and budget at any time.
The business or person with the highest bid price for a specific keyword or search term wins the auction and their ad will appear first on the search engine results page for that query. The next highest bidders’ ad will appear and so on until all the ad slots are filled for that keyword search.
How much does Google PPC cost?
That depends entirely on the popularity and the perceived value of the keywords you are bidding for. For example, for a fashion business, the perceived value of relevant keywords may only be a couple of pounds. This is because clothing, in general, is not a high-value product so, in order to maintain profit margins, these fashion companies are only willing to spend a relatively small amount per click.
Whereas the bid price for something like lawyer services may be far greater because if a click is successfully converted into a client, then the firm can make a large profit from that one new client. The potential profit to be gained from converting a click must outweigh the cost of the click for it to be worthwhile.
The good news is that as the name pay-per-click suggests you only pay when someone clicks on your advertisement. So, while many people may see your ad, you only pay when someone actually physically clicks on it and is directed to your website or landing page.
How do you know if a search result is paid or organic?
Usually, pay-per-click ads appear at the top of the search engine results page or at the bottom. The word ‘ad’ is shown in bold in front of the web address for all paid advertisements on Google search. Organic results appear under any paid ads and will not have the word ‘ad’ in front of their web address as they are not a paid-for advertising campaign. Organic placement is often down to SEO.
Would you use PPC instead of organic search?
While it is great to come out top in organic results it can be difficult to achieve. It can take a lot of content marketing and clever SEO to attain and retain a top spot. Even getting on the first page of search engines is no easy feat. Therefore, PPC or paid search is a quicker and easier way to get to the top of the page. It is a good short-term strategy while you work on improving organic results.
